Self-Guided Hiking

The Trinity Alps Wilderness is located 50 miles west of Redding, California. The area consists of numerous hiking trails and rushing streams that feed into Wild and Scenic Trinity River in the south and the Wild and Scenic Salmon River in the north, many of them emerging from the region’s 55 lakes. Numerous loop hikes are available, requiring three to five days to complete.

If you would like to experience the trails surrounding our location at the ranch, please inquire at our Trading Post to find out which trails best suits you and your family. Since the ranch is located in the center of the Trinity Alps Wilderness expect steep inclines, but with some fantastic views.
