Many of our guests experience their first horseback ride with us. We have horses that are appropriate for first time inexperienced riders. Our riding program is designed to help people to feel comfortable, learn at their own pace and most importantly – ride safely.
We have a horse for every level of riding including experienced riders. In fact, many of our guests own their own horses and ride competitively. The variety of our riding program is designed to meet the expectations of every riding level. Our All Day Ride, Half Day Ride and Fast Rides (with loping/cantering) are popular with our many accomplished riders.
Mountain Wilderness temperatures can vary by as much as 10-20 degrees between daily highs and lows during the summer. Spring & Fall are generally warm during the day and cooler at night; it’s best to dress in layers to adjust for temperature fluctuations.
Our summer season average between 80-90 degrees, with the nights refreshing, but not cold. We may have an occasional day in the 3 digits, but it always cools off at night by 20 degrees. Every afternoon a cool breeze comes up from the creek to cool the evenings. Bring mosquito repellent for the summer evenings.
